it is very expensive. There are apps of the same or higher quality with the lower price tag. But OK. I wanted it because it sounds amazing so I paid for it. No regret there. But what bothers me more is the UI and MIDI crashes a lot. Such a cheap looking sliders. Generic! Some hyper lousy pictures on "Select Instruments" Horror looking. Like 35 mm negative. Do not get me wrong. Playing board is good. Strings are responsive and it is fun to play. But those sliders and buttons. Also very important miss. Is should have XY-pad for wah-wah and fuzz pedals. For us extreme bass players. For bends with bass and drums only. Bass guitar world is not always the clean sounding one. As you can read the app is good it is recommended but it could have much better user interface. In artistic way. Not this ugly generic once.

Hello, Whoever wrote this bass app. Its incredible. I have been composing jazz songs for 30 years. Finally I can compose the bass tracks that sound just like a bass player. Please dont hesitate to buy. You will not find a better bass sound or interface for iOS. Please keep supporting this wonderful app forever. Thank you so much

Sounds are really good ,but the "click " keyboard sounds are too loud, what could I do too reduce "click" keyboard sounds?

Hello, it is a nice Instrument, but the IAA connection seems to have a mistake. When in tabletop the record button is red, the fretless bass always gets to silence. So you dont hear the Sound while you are recording it and you dont hear the done fretless bass record when arming the record button. I am running ipad air and this should better work. No problems with fretless guitar. So, please update this for knowing what i am recording, if i do.

This app is so fun to play with and the visual waveform is a great bonus. I recommend!

Recording sampled bass has never felt or sounded better. If youve ever recorded repeated 1/8th notes on a keyboard bass patch you know how unnatural it sounds. As an ex bass of 15 years this would really irritate me. But playing two fingers on iFretlesss bass string produce some very authentic bass lines. The new support for Audiobus is a great feature for my iOS recording environment. There are several preferences youll have to tweak inside the app to match your playing style. You can even send out midi to control sounds on other apps that support virtual midi and maintain iFretlesss expressiveness.

As a bass player its very useful... I use it as a MIDI controller for just about everything

But 1) "hammer on" and "pull off" switching on/off, 2) attack and release times adjustment, 3) other guitar techniques as "palm muting", 4) remembering settings of a last session are very necessary. Upd.: Developer seems to be too lazy to make real improvements.

Why isnt possible to save the preset? It,s incredible the lack of this feature... Please upgrade as soon as possible!!!!

Its my kind of app. Simple and workable.

Great MIDI controller with effective virtual MIDI routing. I would like two things: 1) Ability to enable note-off messages too. It seems that some notes stick in BM2, but that could be BM2. 2) A vertical slider on the left with assignable cc message numbers so those who are using synths can control one parameter in addition to volume and pitch bend. Even being able to send a modulation controller message would be helpful. Also, when closing background MIDI apps, the app starts making really loud crackling sounds until network midi is re-enabled or closed and reopened. Thanks for a great app!

This is a great app and I would rate it 5 stars if not for the loud CRACK that occurs often when you perform a hammer-on. I about jumped out of my chair the first time it happened. Its really, really loud. And, unfortunately, blows the whole sound out. I normally would communicate directly with the developer about this but could not find any way to do that. Please fix this so I can give it a 5-star rating and recommend it to my friends! Id also recommend setting up a blog so we can direct problems to you instead of voicing them in a review...

This sound very good and that cant be said about to many bass apps Ive purchased. Very pleased with this app great job dev hope the latency get a little better other than that it perfect.

With this latest update and the new XY pads, this becomes one of the funnest and most useful midi controllers that I own. Im especially liking how solid virtual midi works now :)

This is certainly a different way to play the iPad. Sounds are cool, but Im not sure it beats a good bass synth.

First of all it would not install properly on my iPad 3. It took multiple trys for it to finally install. After that it crashes immediately when trying to open. I am hoping for an update soon so that I can use the app again.
